Iraqi and US negotiators have completed a draft security agreement that would see American troops leave Iraqi cities as soon as June 30, Iraqi and American officials said yesterday.
The agreement spells out that US troops would leave Iraqi cities by next summer, but it was unclear yesterday how it deals with the issue of a final pullout. The Iraqi government has pushed for a specific date - most likely the end of 2011 - by which all American forces would depart the country.

Paedophile and disgraced pop star Gary Glitter has agreed to leave Bangkok for London, according to Thai police.
Glitter, who served a prison sentence for child abuse, flew to Thailand after refusing to travel to London and being rejected for entry to Hong Kong.
Thai authorities said he would fly to London later. They said he had been told no other country would take him.

Hundreds of Swazi women have marched through the streets of the capital to protest about a shopping trip taken by nine of the king's 13 wives.
They chartered a plane last week to go to Europe and the Middle East.
The BBC's Thulani Mthethwa says the protesters handed in a petition to the finance ministry saying the money could have been better spent.
Swaziland, Africa's last absolute monarchy, is one of the poorest countries in the world and more than 40% of the population is believed to be infected with HIV.
